So many things going on!!!

Our afternoon writing time is really getting fun to read. Many kids are attempting words and sentences!!

One minute our caterpillar was hang in a j shape...the next he was in his chrysalis!

My former 2nd grade teacher AND former teacher colleague shared her talents helping us make kolackies!
(Did you know that there was 2 years when Jean Bartusek who taught me was teacher with me and Jackie Heyda who I taught?  3 generations of fun!

Then she read us a story about New Prague called New Prague A to z!

Then Mr. Jirik shared his talent with us!

And our course...we had to give the Polka dance a try!

We got to see a check outfit!

YUM!  And the kids did an awesome job making them!

Our box is full!  Popcorn party tomorrow!  We've been working hard to make great choices and re-learn the rules of REAP!

Munchie sure has been hungry!  And the kids a re LOVING to watch him!

Day 1 of NWEA testing for Reading. 2nd test tomorrow!  Results shared at conferences.

FRIDAYS~  Each Friday it is my goal to send home a Weekly Progress Report of how your child progressed in all areas during the week, and what the week ahead looks like. It will come home in a green construction paper folder.  The folder needs to be returned each Monday as well as the signed WPR.

So nice to have a slow Friday!

We worked in our Handwriting books. Next week you will see a grade for the letter b and B.!

We have all of the letters for REAP set and ready.  When we noticed someone is showing REAP, we put a sticker on the letter!  AND...notice our popcorn box...have you heard about that?

Wow!  What busy days we have!!!  Hard to keep up with everything!

Mr Wagner and his friend greet us for Recess Rodeo!  All of our specialists work together to show the safe ways of playing on the playground!

Then Mr. Giesen came to read a book to us and welcomed us back!

I was shocked at how much the kids knew about 911 today.  Wow.  Good conversation!  We checked and yes the flag was only 1/2 way up.

We FINALLY Had time to dig into some books this week!!
