Perfect kids...classic first grade teeth...or lack of teeth...Dental Health Month!

My niece Sarah Steinhoff shared some great ideas with us about taking good care of our teeth! We were happy to get a goodie bag too!

We loved having Mrs. Klinkenberg read to us!

What a "love"ly party it was!  Good times, good friends, helpful moms, GREAT kids!

 

Did you make it to soup night?  The broccoli cheese soup was my favorite!!!  Mrs. deNeui says we're close to $1,000. now!!

And Mr. Dittberner came by as well to share a few stories too!

It was so nice that the NPHS boys hockey players came to FR to read to kids!  Our buddy Lucas surprised us and came to read to us!!! It was so nice to see him again.  Mrs. Hermann got to listen to him read too as she came right after he did!

Brian Smith really did an outstanding job sharing his bagpipes and uniform with us.  The kids will never forget it!!  PS.... it was a tiny bit loud.

So much fun getting ready for Valentines Day!!!

Second Grade teacher Mrs. Luskey read to us today!  She is also Braden's aunt!  She was looking carefully at us to see if she would like to have us in her class next year!  (I think she would take every one of us!)

All school hallway read!  The floor and our ______'s got a little chilly!

Time to get the Valentines Bags done!

Nice to have Toby's mom join us with 2 great books today!

Our school and a class from Eagle View sent off Valentines for Veterans today!  282 valentines will be distributed to the veterans at the Mpls. Veterans Hospital.  This will be our 25th year of doing this!

Mr. Giesen shared a good book with us today!  Then we had a tiny surprise party for him for his birthday!  Great times!!

We've been adding and adding and adding our minutes read every day!  Who knew kids that read could also become expert Math addition kids!
Our first grade showcase shows how our whole class of 2025 are doing!

We had a fun visit with my son Nathan from Scotland today!  It was already sun down there but he was able to show us some landscape which included a castle!  He will be there til May so maybe we can connect again.  He talked about the rainy weather, "haggis" and how the cars drive on the left side of the road there!  Mackenzie told him he needs to remember to switch that when he comes home! It was nice to see that my KID loves my kids and my KIDS loved my kid!! Does a lonely momma heart good!  :)
